Located in the beautiful Flamengo Park and surrounded by its modernist gardens (designed by Burle Marx), the Museum of Modern Art aims to foment modern and contemporary art and stimulate reflection on these subjects through the conservation and exhibition of its spectacular collection (as well as borrowed items).
