In this program we will study the art, architecture and other forms of Carioca culture from the founding of Rio until its present days. By visiting some of the most impressive churches, museums and cultural spaces in the city we will have a clear picture of the historical developments in Brazil and Rio that led to a diversity of artistic movements and cultural expressions.

*Program fees are are for private walking tours (up to 4 Km) with groups of up to four people and include museum entrance tickets. Tours for larger groups can be arranged for an additional fee of USD25,00 (half day) or USD35,00 (full day) per person. Private transportation can also be arranged at an additional cost.
